translation fails

I rarely shop without first translating what I'm looking for. You'd think that grocery shopping might be incredibly simple. See product, take from shelf, put in basket, success.
No sir.
Not for me here in Finland.
I watched a commercial for what I thought was flavored coffee cream. Turn my coffee into a latte you say? Sold. Off I went into City Market and got it.
Today I made coffee and sat down to read the label and realized it said maitokahvijuoma. Literally milk coffee drink. A ready made caramel latte: just open up, sip and enjoy life. Damn it but but I already am making the coffee. I tasted the drink and it was way too sugary for my taste, so just decided to put it into my coffee and it was just instant disappointment.

Never again will I not do my research before buying something.

Review: Biozell Professional color mask in Plum

There's a Finnish cruelty free brand of color masks, Biozell that I've been eyeing for awhile. Now that I've achieved this mostly blonde hair color I've toyed with the idea of lilac hair for summer. Now, I say mostly blonde because I still have some gingery tint to it in some parts but my hair dresser refuses to over bleach or really put work into the hair. I suspect that working with baby fine Finnish hair has left her cautious. My hair is thick and has even been referred to here as "ethnic" which blows my mind.

Pros and Cons of the Biozell plum

+ Fragrance and ammonia free
+ Tones can be mixed (you can make your own unique color)
+ Leaves hair soft
- After 1 hair wash, color dramatically fades

You are to apply to towel dry or dry hair and leave on for 3-5 minutes. I must disclaim that I do have bleached blonde hair and left it on my head for about half an hour. Hoping to really soak in the color and for it to last longer than the recommended time of the bottle.
The bottle says and I quote: Tone will last 6-8 washes; for 2-3 treatments for medium length hair (which is exactly my length).
Also, I mixed it with conditioner and I did still get a very purple color on the very ends (the most bleached part) and pinkish raspberry hues on other parts of my hair, mixed in with peek a boo blonde sections (accidental).

I do love that my hair felt soft and there was no smell at all. The bottle really did deliver what it promised.
Of course, having such porous hair after 1 wash, everything faded quite dramatically.

There's a huge range of colors and there are "tame" colors such as black, cappuccino, etc for those that just want to keep their colors fresh in between salon visits.

I've returned since to the store and purchased their "Silver" color, which says Cool Silver tone removes yellow & gives silver shine. Not sure how it will come out but will update with that review in the future. Biozell.fi
